I made myself a pochade easel and I'm totally stoked with it! A friend gave me this old paint box that his dad picked up at a garage sale. Another friend who works at a metal shop made the aluminum plates and turned me a big nut with which I attach the box to the tripod which I bought used for $10 on kijiji.
